In my case, life gave me left over Lemon Sorbet but I still made a lemonade out of it.
It has started getting really hot in our city. Like REALLY hot. And humid. Just like June/July weather.
So yesterday while I was looking for something refreshing to drink, I opened the freezer and there in a bowl was one scoop of lemon sorbet that I made earlier. I could have eaten that straight away but I wanted more and I knew this wouldn't be enough to quench my thirst.
So I let it stand on the kitchen counter for 5 minutes and then mixed it with 1 glass of cold water. I also added few mint leaves and just a pinch of salt. There was no need to add extra ice due to the sorbet.
It was SO refreshing and easy. Next time I make lemon sorbet, I'll remember to make one extra batch for a quick lemonade fix.
